Serving Lacombe since 1993
The mission of Lacombe Victim Services Association is to provide a highly skilled, compassionate level of service to any victim of crime or tragedy, through our dedicated, trained staff and volunteers.
Our Victim Service Unit is a policed based, non-profit, charitable society that works in partnership with the Lacombe Police Service to provide Support, Information and Referrals to persons in the City of Lacombe during their time of crisis, trauma or tragedy whether it is as a victim of a crime, sudden death or crisis.
When tragedy strikes, we all need someone to turn to; someone who can help guide us through the first few hours, days and months as we adjust to the ‘new normal’ that our lives have become.
A Lacombe Victim Services Advocate can be that person offering the victim of a crime or tragedy emotional support, a listening ear and practical assistance when it is needed most.
Victim Services Advocates are well trained to help people through their worst moments, after the loss of a loved one, an assault, a fire or flood, or property damage due to a crime.
